Laura is now 2 months old (as of yesterday)!
She is getting more and more interactive everyday. When I go to pick her up in the morning she smiles and smiles. Also, yesterday she was batting at the toys hanging above her play mat. The jury is still out on whether it was intentional, but the fact that she did it over and over and over seems to be evidence to the affirmative.
I should put up a 2 month picture ... so, watch here for some photos in the near future.

Today Laura is 8 weeks old! I was going to say she is 2 months old -- but really that is 5 days from now on the 13th.
We went to the doctor's yesterday. Yes, all of us -- even Jeff, who got up early on his day off to help out. Laura weighed in at 10 lbs. 4 ounces and 22.5 in long. She got 3 shots. What a trooper!

Halloween Pictures
I'm starting the next post just to get things going, but this is really Wendy's project. The zoo here in SC did a Halloween thing that we went to with some friends from work. They have a 3-year-old that did his trick or treating there, and Laura just wore a costume and stared at the bright lights. Anyhow, very few people have been able to guess what her costume is. I don't want to say, but if you can't get it then either I didn't do a very good job on it or you just don't know me very well.

This is Laura being dwarfed by a giant pumpkin.
