This past weekend we went up to Franklin, Pa. to visit Grandma and Grandpa Corbett. Since Laura turns 2 in a week or so, we celebrated while we were there.

Laura looking at her "Highlights." We've been getting them in the mail once a month since the end of December with Laura's name on them. They must have been a Christmas present, but we have no idea from who. Whoever it was, thanks! Laura enjoys 'reading' them.

Our 'Merry Christmas' Picture

I didn't get too many Christmas pictures, but when we were up in PA to visit Jeff's parents it actually snowed a little one night (less than an inch). So, I got a few pictures of us playing in the snow...

Playing with Daddy's matchbox car (a few days before Christmas). The funny thing is the cool sound effects she makes as she 'drives' the car around the house, kinda like a 'vvvvvvvvvvvvv...' -- made funnier by the fact that I don't remember showing her that!

Happy All Saints Day ... which means yesterday was Halloween. Laura dressed as a cheerleader for the day. She spent most of it with Grandma Stum, who made her some pom-poms to go with her outfit. Laura, dad and I spent the evening with Grandma, strolled the neighborhood, and saw some of the kiddies costumes.


If you want to know who Laura is cheering for, the logo on her dress is that of the University of South Carolina. Go Gamecocks!

Listening to some tunes ...

Last Saturday Laura and I had lunch with Kirsten (one of mommy's roomates from college). It had been a long time and it was great to see her!
