Halloween

The kids just got dressed up and ready for trick-or-treating. Mommy wanted pictures.

I have been wanting to post a video since blogger makes it so easy, but have had trouble finding one that I wanted to post. So finally, a fairly recent video of Paul playing:

A week or so ago Laura and I colored some pumpkins. Unfortunately we used washable markers and left them out in the rain. Fortunately we took pictures before it rained. The neat part is that we grew these pumpkins ourselves from the seeds of last year's pumkin!

Laura turned 4 years old over 1 month ago. Labor Day weekend we went up to visit the Pennsylvania grandparents and celebrated Laura and Grandpa Jeff's birthdays...

The next week, on Laura's birthday, we had birthday celebration II, and the Stum's for the family in Maryland. Our friend Marc and his daughter Kaitlyn came to celebrate along with the family.

Paul prefers the view from sitting rather than laying, so even though he hasn't started solid food yet he has spent some time in his highchair so he can have a better view. He isn't sitting on his own yet, but the chair has enough support that it sure looks like it.

Paul is 4 months old TODAY. Mom is on it!

A couple of weeks ago we were up in PA visiting the grandparents. It was the week before the fourth of july and their town had a lot of things going on that week. One day we went to a 'penny carnival'. Laura got to ride a pony AND a firetruck. Fun times!

Its already been another month! Here is Paul at a little over 3 months old.

He is just starting to roll from tummy to back, having done it a few times. But, I think most times it has been unintentional, so far.

He also has been smiling and laughing a lot, and has really started to babble a lot.

A couple of weeks ago we had our first nice weather. So the kids and I got to get out of the house. Here we are hanging out in the backyard.

While we were having fun with the hose, this is what Paul did (he's about 1 month old in this picture)...

Saturday we went to a garden show at a park near Sykesville with some friends. Of course I didn't think to get pictures there. But, Laura got her face painted and insisted on taking a picture while on the car ride home. Of course she was asleep by the time we got home...

After she woke up we took a few more pictures.

Here's Halloween. Laura was a little sick but she made it out for an hour's worth of houses.

Yesterday, we got to go to a nearby farm for a hayride and pumpkin picking with some friends. Here is Laura posing with our pumpkins, after we got home.

I realize it's been awhile since I posted pictures. About a week ago I tried to get some updated shots of Laura while she was playing with play-doh...

With our digital camera broken, it has been awhile since I've posted pictures. I snagged some photos from my parents computer to fill in the gap. Hopefully we'll get a new camera soon.

First, the rest of the birthday pictures. For Laura's birthday we had dinner at my parents and invited some friends.

And for Halloween Laura dressed as a cowgirl. We went to a couple neighbors' houses in Grandma and Grandpa Stum's neighborhood.

This past weekend we went up to Franklin, Pa. to visit Grandma and Grandpa Corbett. Since Laura turns 2 in a week or so, we celebrated while we were there.
