I didn't get too many Christmas pictures, but when we were up in PA to visit Jeff's parents it actually snowed a little one night (less than an inch). So, I got a few pictures of us playing in the snow...

Playing with Daddy's matchbox car (a few days before Christmas). The funny thing is the cool sound effects she makes as she 'drives' the car around the house, kinda like a 'vvvvvvvvvvvvv...' -- made funnier by the fact that I don't remember showing her that!

Happy All Saints Day ... which means yesterday was Halloween. Laura dressed as a cheerleader for the day. She spent most of it with Grandma Stum, who made her some pom-poms to go with her outfit. Laura, dad and I spent the evening with Grandma, strolled the neighborhood, and saw some of the kiddies costumes.

If you want to know who Laura is cheering for, the logo on her dress is that of the University of South Carolina. Go Gamecocks!

Listening to some tunes ...
Last Saturday Laura and I had lunch with Kirsten (one of mommy's roomates from college). It had been a long time and it was great to see her!

A last few birthday pictures. These were taken on Laura's actual birthday. We had dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Stum's and I (mom) made a cake.

Over Labor Day weekend we went up to PA to visit the Corbett side of the family. It was only a week or so until Laura's birthday (and even closer to Grandpa Jeff's birthday), so we had a party while we were there.

Some fun after-bath photos.

Several Saturdays ago we went to the park. They've sure changed it since I went there as a child. A rock wall and everything!

It has been a while... but it always takes a while, doesn't it. Here are some August pictures...

Laura is definitely growing up. Above, she's climbing boxes. I think her goal was the seed in the glass of water on the window sill. Below, Grandma and Grandpa Stum brought out our old rocking chair. Laura is looking at one of her books and smiling for the camera.

It's been a while. Things have been busy with moving to a new apartment, Jeff starting his job, and Wendy switching to part time and staying home with Laura. So here are a smattering of pictures taken since the last update.

A few weeks ago Jeff's brother got married here are some pictures taken during the rehearsal...

Aunt Corrin (the bride) and Laura

That same weekend we went to visit some friends as they were passing through Virginia Beach on their way to Rochester. We went to a Virginia Nature Museum. Laura liked the fish the best...

Last Sunday we went to the park to hang out with some friends. Corrin and Tony stopped by, and Corrin took some nice pictures of Laura ... but they arn't loading, so I'll try again later.

Around July 4th I took vacation and we went up to visit the Corbett side of the family in north west PA and NY.

We spent the first part of the trip in Franklin, Pa. with Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Jeff, Great Grandma Harry and Joe.

Then, we drove up to Cayuga, NY to visit with more family at Aunt Polly and Uncle Dave's house by the lake. I ended up leaving my purse and the camera at a rest stop on the way. So no pictures from NY. But, on the way back to PA we stopped at the same rest stop and found the camera and purse!! Here is Laura trying a little hamburger at the rest stop.

Later that week, after we had gotten home, Daddy got a job. We went to celebrate at Outback.

Laura's hair is starting to get long enough (in front) to get in her eyes.

So we've starting putting some hair clips in her hair, even though they usually only stay for a little while and Laura doesn't really like the process of getting them in.

And for fun, an action shot during lunch.
